It was a successful AEJMC conference in San Francisco this past weekend. Tiring, busy, but productive. Plus I was able to eat in Chinatown, see a game at Oracle Park, and uncomfortably stuff myself with chowder in a sourdough bowl (which was also consumed) followed by a giant sundae at Ghirardelli. Maybe that is why I was tired? Worth it.

Though these types of conferences are not well-known outside of the field, they are important because they are full of rich discussions on how we can better understand important issues affecting our field, how we can better our educational approach to help shape a strong next generation of media professionals, and offer ways to implement better standards into practice.
So what if I want a not-so-little ice cream after that.
